Contributor-Level 10

I would necessarily say St Xavier's College Mumbai is much better than say DU. As here you get an all-round exposure apart from studies. And I personally believe that the kind of personality development you would get here at Xavier's is beyond any colleges of DU unless you go to Stephen's, LSR, Hindu etc.

You cannot leave any integrated courses halfway, if you do you will end up with nothing. If you take up a course either you have to complete it or drop it, there is nothing like you complete half and get UG certificate.

Yes, you have rooms available near VIT. There are many canteens available inside and outside the VIT campus. You can come, enquire and choose for your type. I guess there is a policy in VIT that freshers will not be allowed to stay outside the campus without proper approval or reason. Please check with the administration team and plan accordingly.
