Don't worry for failing in HSC. If you are 18 Years Completed then you can pursue a Graduate (Three Years Course Duration) in Open University Mode through Tamil Nadu Open University, Chennai. They will conduct an Entrance Exam which will be easy for you to clear. Admission has commenced. Best of Luck.

Yes. Check previous year's cut off lists ( there are about 10-12 cut off lists for 2018) released by DU at its website http://www.du.ac.in/du/ and check the courses having less than 70% eligibility. It is more advisable to think of a career you want to pursue and accordingly choose course suitable for it. Some courses can be pursued through school of open learning or correspondence. Remember career is more important than University.

I feel this is good as it inculcates the habit of discipline and regularity in students. if you have less than 75% attendance then you need to pay INR. 8,000 per subject to give the exam or else you will be debarred.

Place of study does not matter. If you want to a Computer Science Engineer then Pursue BE (Computer Science Engineering) - Four Years Duration Course. BCA is a Humanities Degree in Computer Applications which will gives you knowledge.
