Calculators are not allowed to be carried inside the exam hall. However, you are provided with basic onscreen calculator. The level of questions is not set hard from calculation point of view. If you know the strategy to solve the question, you will be able to solve without using the calculator faster rather than using the calculator and spend a few minutes extra unnecessarily.

Every branch of engineering is more interesting in them. Choice of branch mainly depends upon on interest of a student. Choose electrical if you have interest in physics. Opt CSE if you want to become a programmer. You can also join civil or mechanical if want to join the government jobs.

You need to decide your target institute. For Iims, it is mandate to appear in CAT for Xaviers' Institute, XAT is preferable. Other than these, most of the institutes accept MAT score.

The eligibility criteria for Hotel management course is 10+2. Either, you appear for class 12th, as external candidate and give exam. You can pass class 12th in any stream. Best wishes.

Instead of government, I believe that you must try with privately or jointly run medical colleges, though the privately run colleges have quite a high fee, starting from 4 lacs P.A (tuition fees) in a common scenario. And having domicile of both states looks illegitimate.
