Most students don't find IELTS or TOEFL difficult. It's only a test of your English reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. How difficult can it be? However you must take some practice tests to acquaint yourself with the test pattern etc. If you are not feeling confident, the go ahead and join some class for a month.

LPU doesn't publicly release exact branch-wise numbers like “how many civil students got selected” for a specific year, but overall a good portion of eligible civil students do get placed or move into internships, higher studies, or government exam prep; since civil is a core branch, placements are moderate and spread across site roles, construction firms, and some students shift to IT, so instead of exact numbers, what matters is that LPU provides enough opportunities, and your selection mainly depends on your skills, internships, and how active you are during placements.

Yes, you can change colleges after completing the first year of a BCA degree. But, it totally depends on the college if they allow it or not. There are some colleges that allow the change of college after one year and some do not. Also, you have to attain good marks in your first year of graduation in order to change colleges. So if you are planning to change your college in the second year, you can talk to the authorities of the college.
