In view of this I would recommend that you download the syllabus for this course from your intended university. You need to give an application to your college giving reason as to why you could not continue studies and also that you now intend to resume studies. No, you are not allowed to appear in the exams after 5 years. Graduation exams are of 3 years, hence it provides only 5 years to get into.
