Hi Manoj,
Firstly I would say that MBA in Media Management is a very rare course and is offered by very few institutes. Secondly, this industry asks for people who are from the similar background as this field is very creative and challenging. But you can try your hand in the Media world as you have technical knowledge. I would suggest you to go for a PG Diploma course in Media, Marketing, Advertising etc.
Media is a very broad term which includes many things such as journalism, production, direction, cinematography etc. and advertising is also a part of it. Now as you want distance learning institutes.
For more info you can refer to the

Hi Julie,
Frankly speaking third year would be a pretty right time to start your GATE preparation. As in the final year you need to work on your projects etc. and the work load is also high as compare to third year. As every individual is different with his own capabilities so, the time taken to prepare for GATE may vary However, Even if you are an Average student it should not take you more than a year to prepare.
Hope this resolves your query. Feel free to put up more queries. In case your query is resolved please close this question by choosing it as a best answer or pressing the thumbs up icon.
Thanks,
Pooja
