Hi Harvinder,
If you are planing to get into a top university from USA, you do not have an option of dropping off SAT. SAT subject tests are optional and depends on the university admission standards. Apart from SAT you must also prepare for TOEFL test.
Will suggest you to do some check websites and read the admission standards of top US universities and understand what they look for. All the best :)
