Gfg, I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you must pick up a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants. Hi Nikhil. No student was admitted into SIMSREE last year from the CAT exam since no one applied through CAT. However, DTE does not discriminate between the various entrance exams and hence, you would need something around 99.9x percentile to get in.

Before seeking admission in any institute, kindly check the below mentioned parameters such as affiliation, accreditation, fee structure, curriculum etc.
I can totally understand your dilemma in this case as I have been through the same.
Now, you need understand that there are two important things to consider while seeking admission.
(i) A branch of your choice but from a not so good institute = Not much value.
(ii) A not so demanding branch from a good institute= Not much value either.
