Hi,
No, what your friends have told you is wrong. IELTS score is accepted by universities in US but is not hte preferred English test. US universities give more preference to TOEFL and expect a student to take the TOEFL and not IELTS. If the student has already taken the IELTS, the universities accept that as well.
Secondly, USA is the best country to pursue your MBA from. If you are looking for a MBA below 10,00,000 rupees, then you should apply to Australia.
Hope my answer has solved your query. If it has, kindly mark it as best answer.

Singhania University is a UGC recognized University, although, Singhania B.Ed College is recognized by NCTE but whether it comes under Singhania University or not need to be checked with the University, so it would be better that you contact he University directly.
However, I would like to add that even UGC recognition is good enough to do a course.
Hope this will be of help. Feel free to put up more queries In case your query is resolved please close this question by choosing it as a best answer or pressing the thumbs up icon.

Dhanashri, what you have suggested is not feasible. However, you may join Part-Time MBA where-in the classes take place in the evening. But such s course is generally of 3 years instead of 2 years.

Hi Anushka,
According to me, no institute is bad as every institute tries to provide you with knowledge the only thing that differs them is quality of education and often their establishment / reputation in the market also matters a lot. Also the course that you have mentioned Advertising is a professional course and IIMC, MICA are the institutes that specialize in offering only Media related courses and also have developed a brand name and thus are given more preference than others.
And of course it is not important to pursue it through these institutes only as it is not possible for everyone because there are limited seats available. S

Your priority should be to get into, the top 100 B Schools, in India. Most of the reputed B Schools, in the top 100, accept only CAT scores. You should look at giving your, CAT exam, in November 2011 and ensure that you clear it, with an excellent percentile. Ideally, the CAT exam requires six months, of preparation. If you are looking at a coaching institute, you can look at, IMS , CAREER LAUNCHER or TIME .
