Hi Anusha,
There is no one book to help you in this regard. You can of course increase your proficiency in Verbal Ability, Math. etc. with the help of some books like those published by Tata Mcgraw Hill and others available in the market. A lot of material is available on the net also. A lot of practice and a wonderful common sense are the key to sucess in CAT.

Hi Rachit, there are lots of universities offering courses in statistics. These are university of Kent, Southampton, Heriot Watt, City University, staffordhire university and Brunel University. I have mentioend a range of universities. The minimum marks to get in for the course would be at least 70%. Univ like City and Brunel will ask for 80% above. So target your scores and universities accordingly.

Hi Shahi, kindly mention the subject you are going for. Its always better to check the subject wise ranking than just the general ranking for any university or institute.

Hi,
1) Since you want to apply for a PHD, you would require a very good GRE score(atleast 1400-1500). Therefore, i would recommend you to take professional coaching for the GRE. Some coaching institutes where you can enroll for the same are The Princeton Review and Jamboree
2) Fees for GRE: 190 USD or Rupees 8500 appox. For details, visit http://www.ets.org/gre/general/about/fees/
3) There are no advantages of a doctor in GRE. GRE is just an international standardized test on the basis of which you compete with applicants coming from different countries. It has got nothing to do with your PHD degree.
Hope my answer has solved your query. I
