With a degree in English, you can opt for the Maters in the same field and can still look for career in Hospitality in areas like Front office, Guest Relations where in you require a lot of interaction mainly in the same language.
However, opting to pursue Masters in Hospitality will definitely provide you with the much needed technical education pertaining to the domain and surely would benefit you in large way to establish a rewarding career in this field.

There is no short cut to reach such high positions so you need to have very focused approach towards your goal should be a person with lots of patience and perseverance. Apart from this you need to have strong Educational background which should include an MBA from a good B-School like IIMs, FMS, etc. also try and work on your soft skills like communication & networking skills, language skills etc.

Hi Girish, AUT offers a PG Diploma in Communication Studies - Journalism. To apply for admission you need to submit the following documents Class 10 and 12 marksheets and Passing certficate, sem wise or year wise marksheets, degree certificate or provsional certificate, Statement of Purpose, Letter of Recommendation(2), Work experience letters from all employers (if any), CV (if you have work ex), A copy of your passport(1st and Last Page), IELTS ( 6.5 min for PG courses). hello paritosh,u can take admsn in delhi by giving CET exam which is on 28 may . it includes all professional courses. u can bay the prospectus which cost you 1000 rs only.you have not mention that from where u have done your schooling, if you have done it from delhi then you have 80%seats reserved for you and if you are outsider then you have to work hard for remaining 20%seats.

A Bachelors degree in Journalism is very rare and very few institutes offer this. Rather I would suggest you to go for a Bachelors in English Hons., Pol. Science, etc. and then you can pursue your masters in Journalism.
Journalism as a career is very challenging and requires a lot of hard work and patience.To become a good journalist you need to have a good command over Hindi, English or your regional language. hey nishantevn I was in d same situation bu I gt out frm it n pursued aviation wich I thnk was ma best decision. I did ma aviation course frm Frankfinn and I gt placed wid Kingfisher airlines. I also had some guy frnds of mine who wer der at frankfinn n nw dey r placed with Spice jet. I think u shld giv aviation a thought as it will enable you to earn as soon as u complete ur course also you dun hav to be highly qualified for taking up dis profession.

See, if you want to do M.TECH., then the story does not end with the GATE disqualification. You can do the Masters from the private institution as well. If you reside in Haryana, then Mullana is a good option for you.
