IN AIEEE exam you need to get over 80% marks to get into a reputed college for Mechanical Engineering course. Even in case of lesser percentage you can get Mech Engg but in a lesser known college and probably with higher fee.

Hi Piyush, I agree with Aneeket , mass communication is a challenging and demanding course. A lot of students are getting attracted to this field nowadays.
To be eligible, the minimum requirement in Bachelor degree is 10+2 and for Post graduate degree courses a Bachelor degree in journalism.

You can do graduation any time of your convenient. Short term graduation is not possible.Many institutes/universities claims and provide one or two year graduation/s. But, this is not recognized and valid. Be careful.

Since your are still in your 3rd year and getting 60 to 65% marks it means that you are a little less academically oriented as far as technical theoretical education is concerned. Probably you are good more on the practical side. I suggest that you focus more on your academics and then by the end of the 3rd year find out if you can reach the 80% marks level. If you reach there then go for M.Tech and enhance your technical education. If not then either go for a job and then do MBA 3 years later, or if you can crack CAT exam somehow after your engg graduation, then do MBA directly after your B.Tech.
