I have not heard of any institute offering the same. However, game design is an extension of design. So you can do well to go into a basic design degree first and get a good hold of graphics. Moreover, you'd require animation skills if you want to focus on the design areas of gaming. Besides this pre-production (or 2d animation) skills also would be useful.
