IGNOU admissions are conducted twice a year (in the month of January and July). Hi Ayushi, Previously it was used to be descriptive but it has changed recently to objective exam. Exam pattern:
100-objective questions
100-max marks
40-general cutoff (on average)
Negative marks-yes (but don't know exactly and please comment if you know)
Syllabus: six areas
Political theory
Political thought (western and indian)
Comparative politics and political analysis
Indian constitution
Public administration
International relations
Go for:
Political principles and theories- O. P Gabas
Comparative politics- B tayal

Yes, you can definitely get admission in AU, because your rank is good in AUEET. Last year 997 ranked student also get the seat, so you can definitely get a seat in AU.

The aim of the colleges is to give Education in less price to every students. The students who qualified from Jadavpur University gets a good job with good package. Thus, university also provides education for the students who cannot have money to pay the fees, if they have potential, then this university gave a chance.
