As rightly said by Nikhlesh, you should opt for a programme which you feel satisfies your interests and career aspirations, although, after BE you can also opt to get into the field of your specialization but if you have a great passion for Fashion technology you can go ahead. Another thing which I would like to mention here that as fashion technology is one of the vocational subjects; you may not get success as easily as you would have got in engineering programmes like IT etc.
