Both the fields are very different and class apart.A qualification in IT will neither give you and advantage or any disadvantage for your interest in the field of Journalism. You can go for journalism at any point of time. But since you have already completed 3 yrs of IT Engineering, it is always recommended that you complete the course and then join for a Journalism course. may be a diploma program or a degree program in journalism. Do not drop one in the middle and then jump to another and loose both. Finish the engineering and think about whether you really want to pursue your career in Journalism. It might just be a sudden urge of

Hello, Good Morning. The procedure for seeking admission in any PG course is almost similar in all universities. You have to chk for the notification of entrance exams btn Feb and March, apply for them. Sometime in May, you have to write the entrance and qualify it with a good rank. The minute you do this, you can join the course and in your case Genetics. The entrance exam will be based on the concepts you have learned in 12th and graduation .
Regards & Best Wishes,
Gomti

Hi Santosh, the best way is to apply and find out. You academic record is good so you should give it a shot. 1210 is a score good enough to apply.
I would also like to let you know that the average GRE score of a NUS class is minimum 1300. This should not discourage you to apply but to enhance your profile and project it better.

Both the cities are good and sound infrastructural based, you need to make a choice on the basis of what lies on your priority. For obvious reasons if you are considering to decide on the basis of the institute, I would advise you to look in to the options on the basis of the faulty, practical classes, lab facilities etc.

Hi Prasanth,
Getting a good job after a graduation might be possible but the growth opportunities and future prospects get stagnant. Yet you can refer to write govt. exams like Bank PO, UPSC etc. This way you can secure a good career option. However, you may also look for a MBA or any other Masters degree depending on your area of interest.
