After diploma in computer engineering, you may join lateral B.Tech course in which you can directly enter into the second year. Degree course will open more opportunities for you.
Procedure :
To take admission, there is Lateral Entry Entrance Test or LEET which is conducted at state level. Some colleges and Universities too conduct their own lateral entry tests.

Hi Rajinder. Can you guide me through your educational background and you present activity? As for details regarding to IELTS requirement, in case you plan for a masters degree than an overall score of 6.5 bands with not less than 6.0 in any would be compulsory whereas in case of a bachelors program an overall score of 6.0 with not less than 5.5 would be required. Hi, You have not provided any information about your academics so far, if you are in job or how is it.
Please know that all the trades are good only, otherwise the institutes would freeze them. If you are from core science background or IT, then IT is in demand these days. After MBA you can look for jobs in project/program/Product management in a software services/product companies.
A combination of IT and Marketing can fetch you a job in high end product sales.

As an EX branch student of engineering, you have options to pursue ME, M.Tech, MS or MBA. For admission in M.Tech course to IITs/NITs, you require to appear for GATE exam which is held in Feb month every year. The syllabus for GATE comprises of all subjects from third sem to sixth sem of your B.Tech course.
