The cut-off for most colleges for MBA admission is at least 50% pass percentage in your graduation degree. As you have managed to obtain 50% in your graduation, you're eligible for MBA in colleges but it's difficult to get a scholarship with these marks. If you want a good college for your MBA course, you should prepare for CAT, MAT or XNAT kind of exams which are carried for bigger colleges like IIM and other B-Schools. You can get yourself a good B-School if you manage to get marks above or equal to their cut-off marks.
Good luck.

Shrinivas, yes it is possible to get admission in 2nd year B.Tech Biotech. Apply for B.Tech Lateral Entry.
Some institutions like IIITs offer lateral entry on the basis of entrance tests like JEE. But private universities like Lovely Professional University, Career point university, Chitkara University, etc offer direct admissions if you score good in Diploma. Check with the universities for more details.
Good luck.

Getting a seat in these colleges is very easy. You just need to have 60% above marks in 12th and since you have an average JEE score, you can directly contact them for the admission in their office. They won't offer you CSE or IT. But you can go for other branches.
