NIT-K has a great location, amazing campus life, lots of events and activities, variety of clubs and sports. NITK CSE is the best for placements. Problems are problems if you feel that so. I don't think you will have any problem in campus apart from the summer temperature.

If you are from general category then it is hard to get admission in this course in IPU.
There are many others colleges in which you can apply like Zakir Hussain, Delhi. This college has the best faculty members of this course.
But if you belong to SC or ST category then you can easily get admission in this course.
