I do agree with Mr Raja MG. NIIT is a private body since very long time and still following the old traditional courses. If u want to do JAVA then u choose SCJP (Sun Certified Java Professional) Certification instead of taking NIIT Certificate. No doubt NIIT is the oldest organization in India since the start of Computer era in Our Country. But they can not be the above of IBM or Red Hat or Microsoft or Cisco or Oracle or Sun Micro System because these are technology providing companies and entire Industry using these technology. So If industry requires Professionals then they choose Industry standards International Certification by these companies not by our local body's certificate. There is a difference between Certificate and Certification. Certificate u get after any training which not mentioned that u master of that, but These International s provided by the companies itself after taking International Examinations. So please don't go after the name which is famous try to find the quality of knowledge u r getting. Hope this might have solved ur query. Best of luck

First of all you need to decide that what do yo want to do after completing your B.Com, are you planning to do a job or want to go for further studies. In case you are planning to take up a job then you can start looking for one in banking & finance sector or some CA firms, you can also sit for various government sector Examinations, such as Civil Service Examination or Bank PO Examinations etc. which can give you a good career path.
Apart from this if you want to pursue further studies in that case the options could be a Masters level degree, be it MBA or M.Com or various certifications like CA, CWA, CFA etc. CS can be another good option for you.
