Hi Mohan,
Firstly, I would suggest you to know yourself, which means, your own interest areas, your skills, knowledge and willingness for the subjects. This will let you know which field will help you in getting better results.
As far as MBA in finance is considered, if you have good knowledge about basic accountancy, cost accounting and financial management, you can go for it or even if you have knowledge about accountancy, even then it will work.
For MBA in Hotel Management, you should have better command over management, business skills and communication along with organisational behavior, so that you can have a better output at it. B

Why do you want to go abroad for working right after 12th? Shouldn't you complete your graduation? If there is some family issue or your family's financial condition is not good, then you must stay in India and find work. While working try to do a part time or distance education course. Going abroad after 12 to work is not a good idea. No good organization would hire an unskilled person. Working condition of the labourers in most countries is not good.

Hello Deepthi,
Production engineering has a good scope as he said above . since he didn't tell about production engineering at PSG, I may tell you about it.
It is good that you have opted for PSG as it has its own industry so that there is no other better option than PSG.
The placements are really good at PSG due its reputation. For PSG placements you may refer below : http://www.psgtech.edu/placements/

Hi,
SS means self-supporting. You can find two courses of the same name but one suffixed with SS. The differences between them are cut off and fees.
The cut off will be lower for SS when compared to general course may be less than 0.5 marks. But the fee structure will be almost 3 times higher than the usual fees.
At Anna University, the fee structure per year is around 10000/- only but for SS you may have to pay 30,000/- per annum.

If you wish to apply for UG program, you must have cleared at least class 12th or higher secondary education from any recognized board and for PG, you should have a Bachelor's degree in the related or equivalent stream.
With a backlog in Diploma, I am not sure if the college will consider your application. I would suggest you to get in touch with the institute in which you wish to apply for better understanding.

Hello Vishnu,
Both SSN and Thiagarajar College of Engineering are similar in terms of placements and faculty. But, the difference is the syllabus. SSN follows Anna university's curriculum but Thiagarajar College follows its own autonomous syllabus.
Infrastructure wise, SSN is better as Thiagarajar is an old college so you may not see a good infrastructure. But, you can get industrial exposure at TCE .
In terms of exposure, SSN is better as it is in the urban area whereas TCE is in rural area. But, both of these are top ranking colleges for placements and faculty.
I have given you the merits and demerits, so you can decide.

Dear Swastik, I will suggest you to follow the PSC job adverts along with other ads from railways, banks etc. The government jobs more specifically request application from graduates (any) unless there are any specific technical requirements. As an example, you can find job adverts on police, railways, nationalized banks etc. Hope this was of help

Hi.
There are plenty of professional courses available for you to choose from.
For commerce students, one of the straight forward paths is to go for B.Com then M.Com and then maybe PhD or professor.
There's also an option to go for CA, CS, CMA and at times LLB, the mainstay of commerce students.
You also have the option of lesser known courses like FRM, CFA, actuary among others. You can also go for various certification courses conducted by many institutions across the country.
You can also think of MBA instead of M.Com.
You can also plan for UPSC or banking sector jobs.
It all depends on what path you want to take.
