For 2019, the extrance exam date for IMU-CET is not yet disclosed but for 2018 batch, the exam date was 2nd June'18 .

It will be more helpful if you choose the first option as you are from the civil background. But one thing which I want to say is that please know about the reviews of that college before going there, I think this will not spoil your time and money.

CDAC will be best if you want to do job. One more option will be that you should do M.Tech from NIT or IITs after GATE exam. All the best!

Candidates must have completed Bachelor's degree (widely recognised) with at least 50% marks (SC/ST: passing marks; OBC/PWD/CW: 45% as per university rules) or equivalent CGPA. By the question, its not very clear which stream are you planning to get your PG done in CDAC. However, as per your qualification, you can apply for PG-DAC (Diploma in Advanced Computing) You can apply for PG-DAC where you need to score atleast 50% marks in your B.Tech. As for the exam difficulty level. It depends on your level and strategy of preparing for the exam. You are not sure about clearing CDAC, you can go for preparatory short term coaching centers to crack the exams. For more information, refer to the link below
