Let me quote the important requirements for being a successful career counselor
1. Must have good domain knowledge which could be enhanced by keeping track of news, reading relevant magazines etc.
2. Must be able to express his/her ideas properly for which a good hold on grammar and vocab is required. This doesn't mean inclusion of low-frequency words rather simple and easy to understand language.
3. Above all, a person should carry that social service feeling to help others. You should be one working for intangible rather than tangible gains.

Admission is based on IBSAT 2012 and Interview. GMAT® scores (from 2009 onwards) and CAT 2012 scores are also accepted in place of IBSAT 2012.
IBS Hyderabad accepts GMAT® score of 550 and above and CAT percentile of 75 and above.

Mera mashwara yeh hain ki app MCJ or MJ or MA (JMC) Jamia ya Nitte University, Mangalore ya phir Osmania University se kijiye. Suney mey aata hain ki Osmania mein Telangana agitation ke kaaran classes nahin ho rahi hain, Us lihaaz se koi A grade university theek rahega!

Yes you can pursue M.TECH after graduation from Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers.
The IETE also conducts postgraduate level course ALCCS (Advanced Level Course in Computer Science) which is also recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, as equivalent to M. Tech in Computer Science for the appointment to superior posts & services under the Central Government.
You can go for either as per your interest and convenience.
