Hi Sonia
I would encourage you to look at the entire field of design at this stage. Design is a field that is age old and has been evolving every year like science. The world has changed a lot and a lot of new and wonderful careers in design have come up. Sometimes student artists are too much enamored by fine arts preventing them to look objectively at design.
Again like science it pays to be at the cutting edge. For e.g. science students do better if they go for CS or IT since that are areas where development is taking place rapidly. Similarly in design the cutting edge areas are UID/ UXD, 3D printing, immersive technology, augmented r

Hi Ipara
Both the programmes are somewhat similar and it will be unwise to compare. The PGDBA programme is shorter in duration and for managers who wants to finish the studies in one year. It is a short version of the MBA. The MBA programme lasts for 2 years. For admission into either programme you must have a minimum of 2 years of work experience. In addition, you must have IELTS 6.5 with no individual band lower than 6.0 or TOEFL iBT score of 79.
Hope it helps.

No, IIMs have a minimum cutoff of 50% in all the examinations. However you can appear for CAT and apply to other business colleges that accept CAT score. There are a lot of good colleges in India where placements are usually 100%. You should not be discouraged by this.
