I will try to elaborate on the scope of each course so that you can be in a better position to decide which course to pursue. Unfortunately, I cannot decide for you which course is better as you will be able to judge the pros and cons yourself. Both courses have comparable scope, so it is unfair to place one above the other, and both are pretty well established so you will be able to find your place in each field with ease.
Scope after B.Pharma:
The pharmacy sector offers lots of opportunities to the students after the completion of the course. The students can work in a Pharmaceutical company or can practice as a Pharmacist. There is a huge number of opportunities available for the students in both public and the private sector. You can also work in a government sector. Beside this, you can also work in an Abroad Company.
After completing a graduate degree, you can work at government hospitals, private medical shops & private hospitals/clinics. You can also start your own consultancies & medical shop.
The students can work in a Pharmaceutical company or can practice as a Pharmacist. In Pharmaceutical Company, you can work in departments such as quality control, manufacturing, packing marketing, production, etc.
Scope for B.Sc in Nursing:
Plenty of career opportunities are available for nursing nowadays. On the completion of their studies, students can get jobs with many private as well as public sector undertakings. A few of the areas where students can get jobs comprise of:
Clinics and Heath Departments
Defence Services
Hospitals
Industrial Houses and Factories
Nursing Science Schools
Railways and Public Sector Medical Departments
Training Institutes
It is also possible for nursing students to work with charitable institutions such as Old Age Homes and Orphanages. Job opportunities are available for nurses at Nursing Homes too.
