Different course levels would have different course curriculum so if you go for a Diploma course of few months or an year you may find a compact curriculum wherein they will go you knowledge of how to create itinerary and about domestic and international tourism and touring places etc., however, if you go for a long term programme like PG Diploma or a Masters level programme then it will have more in-depth curriculum which will cover subjects like Geography and international tourism, Transport management, Accounting and finance management, Tourism economics etc.

Although, both the degrees provide bright career path, the most important thing which you should keep in mind while choosing your career stream is your own interests and career aspirations. M.Tech should be chosen in case you want to get into core technology field such as software programming, development, testing etc. and if your interest lies in Business development, leading projects, and want to become a vital part in company's growth then you should opt for MBA.
Money is something which you can earn from any field provided you have the right kind of skill sets and your knowledge and skill sets matches the field in which you want to make your career.
