Entrance as well as scholarship test for admission to LPU- B.Tech [lateral entry] programmes
Lovely Professional University is conducting National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST-2016) for B.Tech [Lateral Entry] aspirants. LPUNEST started in 2009, become one of the largest entrance test in India in 5 years with approximately 3 lakh students registering for the same in 2014. The Test will be conducted in online mode (Pen and Paper Mode test is not allowed) as per the schedule mentioned under the head" Dates for LPUNEST-2016
Entrance as well as Scholarship Test: LPUNEST will have twofold advantage as it will act as an Entrance Test as well as Scholarship Test.
Entrance / Eligibility: LPUNEST is compulsory for all the applicants of B.Tech. [Lateral Entry] having less than 70% marks in eligibility qualification.

This university is established in the year 1998, by Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Act 13, 1998. Over a sprawling Campus of about 247 acres, the RGPV is marching towards development into a center of excellence in the arena of Technical Education, Research and Innovations. University offers PhD and 69 PG and UG courses. University Dual Degree Integrated PG Programme is an initiative of Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalay to provide quality education to students with extraordinary skills. Started in the year 2011, this programme is offered in the six disciplines of engineering with the intake of 20 each. Duration of this course is Five year. The students of DDI-PG programme will get either BE and M.Tech degree or BE and MBA degree on the successful completion of the course. This programme is offered in the autonomous UTDs of the university.
