MCA is no doubt a good course to do, but from a good college, otherwise there is no advantage in doing MCA, because the competition is too high for MCA students. Instead of MCA, you can do CDAC PG course from any of it's branch according to your interest.

We can differentiate one from other on the basis of following factors.
1. Faculty: Faculty at Amrita and VIT are reasonably good but more number of Ph.Ds are at Amrita I guess. Faculty at Amrita are friendly compared to faculty at other colleges.
2. Discipline and Values: In this Amrita stands at top giving importance to discipline and values. Along with education for living one can learn education for life at VIT only. But VIT university sometimes fails in this( this is from the information of my friends)
3. Labs: Labs are good at Amrita, VIT and Manipal University.
4. Infrastructure: Infrastructure at Amrita is good compared to rest. V

In my view, TAPMI core is a better option. You can focus well on a particular specialisation. IMT dual country programme is bit costly if we compare the two. IMT dual country programme will give international exposure and working in different environment. But if one looks for Indian/National context TAPMI is better option.
