If someone from IIT and another student of non-IIT gives an interview but IIT students don't have skills but non-IIT student has skills, then interviewer don't see the degree of college. Cut-offs for different branches and bits centers are different the highest is for BITS Pilani CSE, it is around 380 and the lowest for some non-core branch in BITS Goa/Hyderabad which is around 315-320.
