There is separate admission procedure for students from states other than Tamil Nadu (Tamil Nadu). There will be an open advertisement in newspapers (may be not all over India)or you can constantly check the Anna University website where the admission notices start to display from March/April for the consequent year. You can apply online through the web portals once they are made available. Selection is mainly through single-window counselling system based on your High school (I. e. 12th or junior college according to your state)marks when studying under 10+2 system in India. They see your Pcm mark aggregate (generally called Cut-off mark in Tamil Nadu) out of 100 with having
Physics- 25%
Chemistry- 25% &
Math- 50%
They are ranked based upon the cut-off marks and called for counselling mostly at JULY based upon their ranks mostly through intimation in Website (may be mail). Around150 seats reserved for other state Quota students distributed across CEG, MIT, ACT and SAP ( they are collectively called as university departments). Based on merit and as per first come first serve basis they can choose their preferred course from the available at their time/slot of counselling. Counselling venue: College of Engineering Guindy (CEG), Anna University, Chennai-600025. Slot, Time and Date will vary based on your position in the merit list. IMPORTANT NOTICE:

He told me School of Education, Lovely Professional University- LPU is a leading teacher education institution in northern India. The school offers courses from undergraduate to doctorate level. The courses are recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) and the state government.

Infrastructure : Our college facility is good. We have free Wi-Fi available all over the college. My computer Science department is by far one of the best. Medical facility is decent and in sports only basketball is promoted. In Chennai the best mess is of Sathyabama With awesome food every day. No infrastructure related issues were there in my tenure.
Faculty: Yes, almost all teachers here are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. And their teaching quality is decent. Majority of the time teacher use their classic method of teaching i.e. blackboard. But sometimes they use projector to make us study. Student to facility ratio is 40:1. The course curriculum was useful. Other : Every semester one event is there. Well known celebrity comes to our college during fest. Whole campus is connected with Jio Wi-Fi. I am a student of Sathyabama University. My college is mainly known for its placement records. The placement happens here at 3 phase first is bulk recruiters. Second is dream company and third is super dream company. In the first phase, a huge amount of students will be selected by the companies like TCS, etc. Their salary will be between 3.5 to 4.5 LPA and in the second place the companies like Uber, Flipkartm, etc., will select the students for the salary of 6.5- 8.5 LPA. And in the third phase, companies like Google, and Microsoft select the students for the salary of 32 LPA. When you compare the fee of Sathyabama with other colleges, it's a bit less. As a student, I will suggest you that Sathyabma is the best place to study.
