Visit the official websites of both the institutes and see the placements. for the last years. Both the educational institutes are very good and provide quality education. On the basis of ur JEE rank u can get admissions in certain top level colleges/institutes and get good scholarships. There are certain good colleges like Sathyabhama Engineering College, Chennai, VJTI, Mumbai, Lovely professional University.

Sorry Raj deep as you have secured less marks in jee main and 80% in cbse will not givr you percentile upto the mark,so you have lesser chances of getting a seat in a NIT nevertheless you can fill the choices and hope for the best.
Trying to apply in local colleges will have a chance , my suggestion to you will be trying for local government college of your as well as other states.

Hi Manju, hope you have done your option entry online for KCET seat allotment in 1st round. Unfortunately with this rank you will not get top colleges but never mind, choose AMC Banerghatta Road or Cambridge K.R Puram.
Check 2014 cut offs for various college for this rank. You will have 2nd chance to add delete colleges till day after morning 9 O'clock after mock allotment list is released today.
