Yes, all the courses are provided with hostel facility inside the campus.
No need to do up and down from your residence to college.
But the hostel fee is high.

Both PICT and MIT are well known for their faculty and placements facilities. However PICT has an edge when IT or CS is considered. Though there are also opinions that MIT has caught up with PICT.

Yes of course, you can join preparatory course in IIT if you qualified under preparatory course in JEE Advanced in your very first attempt.
Generally, the cut-off for preparatory course is less than general cut-off.
