Hi,
The basic requirement is that one must have excellent creative and artistic abilities such as flair for drawing, sketching or caricaturing and strong imagination and visualization skills. One should be technically skilled and competent and able to work alone on a project for long hours with risk-taking ability and patience.
Such intensive training will help an individual to become an able animator.

To learn Mobile Game or application design, first learn Graphic Design and Visual Communication skills alongwith Sketching and 2d animation. You will be able to produce rich graphic for user interface and user experience. You must join a program covering Graphic Design, Pixel Drawing for Mobile Application, Game Analysis, Game Visualization, Game Development Essentials, Creating Games etc.

You have to do another skill oriented program in 3d animation after your diploma. You may also plan a graduation degree in 3d animation or fine arts alongwith developing skills in animation. However, ensure that you yourself are suitable for Animation Career. Animation is a Creative field and a highly demanding segment. It is exciting and rewarding, but equally demanding field.
To master the Art of Animation, do ensure that you learn the art on paper.Learning Software alone won't help you. After getting artistic skills on paper, learn application software's for expressing skills in the Digital Medium.
