The campus life of LPU is really awesome and feels like a foreign country. Students come from across the globe i.e. nationals or internationals. Even the events which are conducted depict the diversity as students represent their culture, through which we learn a lot.
All facilitates are provided at the Campus Hostel and you'll have the complete choice to choose the accommodation that suits you and your budget.
Zero Ragging/ Zero Discrimination: Nobody is ragged at LPU, This word actually doesn't exist here. There is complete secularism in the LPU hostel life as you will find seniors and juniors treated similarly at the Campus and even at the Hostel. So, there is no division among the students as per their academic year like other campus hostels. Students from the various ends of the country/ neighboring countries come and join LPU and live in the same Hostel without any discrimination.
Food/ Mess: Honestly I won't lie about the mess at the campus, because I myself took food for the first 6 months at the hostel mess until I explored other good places but there are so many people who actually like a mess. If you're one of them very good and if not then fab you're in my gang so, you don't have to worry at all about the food at LPU because there are like 358+ shops inside the campus providing all varieties of food from continental to south Indian and that too at very mediocre rates. Some days if you don't feel like going out you can even order at Dominoes, go to CCD, Mall, etc Food is not at all a problem at LPU.
Outdoor Games/ Indoor Games/Gym: There are so many places at Campus for outdoor games and as well as indoor games. Some are campus properties and some are vendor properties (game parlors) where you'll have to pay to play. Everything is fun wherever you fit in yourself.

Manmeet, there will not be Any Spot Round this year as announced by JOSAA. This year, Seat surrender option has been reintroduced but with some significant riders. Surrender of seat can be done only till the end of third round. In that case, wastage of seats would be very less so no spot round will be conducted.
So, you should try for admission in good private universities before their admissions also are over. They offer you admission on JEE scores/ tests conducted by them/ your marks in 12th. Some of these also offer good scholarships based on any one of the above mentioned admission criteria. Check the websites of some good universities or call on their toll free no.s for more details.

Sumit, chances of your name appearing in further rounds depends upon luck. If some students surrender their seats, then only your name can appear in further round.
Better would be try for admission in good private universities. These days we have so many good private universities are also imparting quality education to the students around the world. They offer you admission on JEE scores/ tests conducted by them/ NATA scores? your marks in 12th. Some of these also offer good scholarships based on any one of the above mentioned admission criteria.
