In order to pursue MS in US you need to fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria:
Relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university, in 10+2+4 years of education pattern.
Good academic record throughout preferably 60%.
GRE score of 1100- 1200 plus and TOEFL score of 80-90 plus.
Universities in US have 2 admission intakes i.e. Fall (August) and Spring (January) Intake. The selection of the students shall be on the basis of SNAP Test + GE/PICandidates will be short-listed on the basis of overall SNAP score for GE/PIFinal short listing will be based on the performance in the SNAP Test as well as performance GE/PI, Past Academic Record & Work Experience.

Although there isn't any constraint for you that shall restrict your chances from pursuing CWA but then after completing your engineering, CWA would be entirely a career change and this transition will bring a few difficulties, however for short while until you get your basics in Accounts right.
If at all you are keen to pursue Cost Work Accountancy (without an accounts background) you can start by registering yourself under the ICWAI which is the regulatory body for all the CWAs in the country.
