B-Tech's fine and you would get a feel for real practical stuff especially if you get into an IIT or an NIT. even after B-Tech many go for MBA. so you would still have your options. Ultimately you will require management at any level. In companies if you hold an MBA deg then you directly are on a way above level than Tech eng.s. they' ll have to work their way up the ladder. So if you look at a pay-pack view a management course is your best option.
