Both the courses will add credibility to your profile and help you with your application to secure admission in a good college. If you have some relevant experience in any one of the courses, go for it. That said, I believe Data Analytics has a good scope as per the current scenario.

ITM has good placements. Renowned companies like Tech Mahindra,Kalpataru, Deloitte, TCS, Reliance, etc come to the campus for recruitments. Regarding the stream, it should be your preference/field of interest first and placement later. Choose your branch of interest first.

It's not about something being good or bad. It's about your preferences and passions. Most students in India identify their passion after completing their engineering. If you are passionate about films and media, then you must go for it. But before going for it, you must prove it to yourself that you are indeed passionate about it.
What have you done so far to pursue this? Have you made any short film, music video, photography etc. If not, then I don't think you are deeply passionate. It's just a phase.

Lab technician course is a far better option than SSC, and LDC because after having technical knowledge you can get a job in the field of education which is a noble job. Also, you can get good salary package too. Whereas, LDC has less scope as compared to lab technician course.

Assuming you are referring to Maharashtra CET, you can get into SIES and Welingkar. But the cutoff changes according to the level of the paper. 2016 CET paper witnessed a high cutoff in-spite of a hard paper.
My opinion - Don't settle on anything less than 99.99. Prepare hard.
