Usually it take 3-5 weeks for a university to process your application. Sometimes, it can take as long as 2-3 months but since you have applied for the Jan intake, they should get back to you by end of this week most probably.
Regarding rejections, sometimes universities do not inform the candidate through email but they do update the status in your online application. Please keep checking your account on the university's website daily.

Hi friend, there are many colleges offering m.tech programs but if you ask me about their fee structure, it is difficult to say as the fee vary from college to college. However, I would advise you to look for programs which are interesting and in demand in the job market so that you can get a good job in any multinational organisation with a good package. Hi Apporva, SMU is good university for distance education for doing MBA but for their placement record you have to contact their old student or whose pursuing course now, they guide you very good instead of mine.
Other than SMU for distance education you can try IGNOU, PTU, Periyar, Symboisys University and you can try for private institute also.
