In most of the Ph.D in the US, you automatically go through your MS by completing required courses and earning the MS credits. Then you start your research and defend the thesis thereafter. So it takes longer time as compared to European Ph.D where almost every student has already completed the MS.

Yes, you can get admission in BE in aeronautical after Diploma in ME. Aeronautical engineering is also a part of mechanical engineering and it involves mechanical engineering. So you are eligible for that. You have to check the colleges offering lateral entry course in aeronautical. Also, one can change the field of study also after Diploma.

To become a marketing manager, you need to have a graduate degree and then MBA in marketing specifically because usually companies hire specialised people for these posts.
To complete your degree in MBA in marketing, go for one of these colleges as they are the best in terms of infrastructure, faculty and placements:
- Xavier institute of management, Bhubaneswar
- S.P Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai
- UPES, Dehradun - It has a lot of further specialised courses which you pursue.
- ICFAI university, Mumbai

Hello Aishwarya,
Definitely, you can get admission in the American universities as only GRE is not the eligibility criteria. The universities look for the overall profile. But, with this score, you cannot get into top universities. To get admission in Tier-2 universities, your GRE score should be 310 or more as the competition is very high.
I would suggest, you retake GRE exam and try to improve your score in order to strengthen your chances of getting admission in good universities.
All the best.
