Aircraft maintenance engineering is a 3 years duration course, which leads to obtaining degree of B.Sc in aircraft maintenance engineering either mechanical or avionics. The basic eligibility criteria is having passed class 12th with PCM. The fees for this course ranges from about rupees 50,000 per year to sometimes RS. 1 lakh per year. This is over and above what you may have to pay for hostel and some other expenses which you May incur. The candidates need to have qualified 12th Board Exams with Mathematics, one language and two other subjects listed as academic subjects securing at least 60% and more marks in Mathematics or a least of 55% marks in aggregate of four subjects including Mathematics, one language and other two subjects listed as academic subjects by the respective boards.
The selection for admissions in these programmes will be based on the calculation of aggregate marks in fours academic subjects including Mathematics and one language.
