Determining the "best" MBA entrance exam depends heavily on your target colleges and personal strengths. However, some exams are more widely accepted and considered prestigious, impacting your options.

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is generally considered a gold standard, accepted by most top Indian B-schools, including IIMs and many others. GIBS, while not directly affiliated with CAT, will likely accept CAT scores. This makes CAT a good starting point if you're aiming for a wide range of well-regarded institutions. Following CAT, the XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) is another highly recognised exam, particularly for Xavier-affiliated institutes, but also for others including GIBS. SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) is essential for Symbiosis colleges.
