As you have been working in the field of Sales for the past 5 Yrs, It is always recommended that you take up your higher qualification in the field of Marketing. Marketing is a vast and competitive area where you can excel and take your career to big heights.As you have joined your MBA, i guess you should be checking with the college authorities about shifting to MBA marketing if you have selected Finance already. Moving into Finance will not be a very BIG issue, however you will have to start fresh in your career with finance. whereas in marketing you already have the background. You need to be confident about yourself. Thats the most important thing.

If you are in second year of your B.Com, what I could gauge is that you must have got admission on the conditional basis to clear your P.U.C till some suggested time period, so if you are not able to do that then the University probably would not allow you to sit for your b.Com second Year's Examinations.
However, I would suggest you to contact the University directly from where you are doing your B.Com and request them to sit for the examinations as it is completely in the hands of the University to extend your conditional offer.
