Hi Shubham,
From 2017 onwards for IIT JEE you should have scored 75% in your 12th. For SC/ST students the cut off is 65%. But, there is also news that students may not require class 12th marks for non IIT engineering exams. You need to keep checking or following education news regularly. For better prospects a first class is recommended.

As you are asking for a strategy so the main thing is smart work. What actually happening is many students are focusing on 12th board and not on JEE exams so as they appear for JEE Mains, they don't score well. The only thing is to study NCERT fully then go for guides and solve their questions and at last solve the recent 10 years questions of JEE Mains.

Both career options are diagonally opposite and diverse. It is difficult to compare as law is more of individual consulting profession where as management is more of people management oriented career. Both carer options are equally good with multiple opportunities, you are advised to choose any based on your interests to excel in career.

The 12th scores are not matter now because of Common University Entrance Test (CUET). General category candidate needs to score a minimum of 50% marks in class 12th in order to apply for the CUET exam. More than 45% marks in class 12th are required for the SC/ST/OBC/PWD category candidates. However for B.Tech Engineering admissions like in NIT, IIT and IIIT, you need to score above 75% marks in 12th. So 12th marks requirements are different according to the courses.
