There are many universities offering BBA in USA. The question is, what do you mean by admission in merit basis? Are you relating to 12th marks and SAT scores? Please let me know.

Yes you can apply for masters after doing job. Infact, It all depends on you. Having work experience in your profile will only add more value to your profile. However, once you get into the working mode, it would be difficult for you to drift yourself back to the study mode and there would be chances that you studies would get affected once you start working. It all depends on your. Both the directions are right. There is no harm if you apply without experience, and there is no harm if you apply with work experience.
