I suggest you should study I and II semester of the programme and decide about it. The exposure to functional areas is a must to understand your own pulse. Every specialization has its own strengths as well as weaknesses in terms of career and opportunities available in the market. But, many students have myths that have no value. The selection of specialization is a careful calibration that needs to be addressed after first year of your exposure to all the functional areas of management. Do not bother about it too much.

Hi Shreesha, Multimedia - It is simple the use of a variety of artistic or communicative media. This includes text, graphic, audio, video etc. VFX (Visual Effects) - Visual Effects (abbreviated VFX) are the processes by which imagery is created and/or manipulated outside the context of a live action shot. Like you've seen Spiderman, Superman etc. In movies and comics they were not real but after watching films we take it as real. So how come they got such powers and all that its basically visual effects. In VFX we animate live things or you can say live characters. We put live things to motion. Hello Vatsal,
NONE!
Mathematics is the compulsory subject to get into DU for B.Com(Hons). Few of the colleges has made mathematics compulsory for B.Com (Prog) too.
It's not compulsory that mathematics should be the part of best of four percentage what matters is that you should have studied it in 10+2.
Moreover, mathematics is the compulsory subject in one of the semesters of both B.Com (Hons) and B.Com (Prog), therefore, there is no way to dodge maths either before or after getting into the varsity.
Good luck.

The Question carries a complex comparison where the Two Streams are on a balance foot when compared.
BBA is a UG in Business Administration and takes one to Management Domain. Where as, a degree in Mass Comm- at the Graduation Level takes one to Media Understanding as well as exposure but also creates Job Prospects, a little bit higher than BBA. BBA done in a General way and without earning or doing Specialisation will not be fruitful unless one goes for an MBA.
On the Other hand, BJMC is a good foundation to get into Media and Mass Comm career.
The choice also depends on the Choice of Career.
