MBA in finance is the course which will empower your knowledge in the area of finance plus in business management.
If MBA in finance (Regular) is done from a reputed institute then it can place you in a very good company or organisation as all the reputed MBA institutions provide campus placement opportunity.
But doing MBA from any institute will not enhance your career in any way.

Higher education qualifications awarded by universities and colleges in England, Wales and Northern Ireland fit into a national framework of five levels. In ascending order these are the certificate, intermediate, honors, masters and doctoral levels. The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) is responsible for designating these levels, which help to ensure parity of standards across the sector. The acronym PGCE has traditionally stood for a postgraduate certificate in education. The QAA, however, has ruled the term 'postgraduate' should only describe courses pitched at an academic level beyond an honors qualification. This means that a course can now only be described as 'postgraduate' if it is pitched at Masters or doctoral level.
Is a professional graduate course at a lower academic level than a postgraduate course? It usually corresponds to honors level the final stage of an undergraduate degree.
If I follow the professional graduate route will I be disadvantaged when applying for jobs? It's impossible to know every school's stance on this, but it seems very unlikely. There is an increasingly diverse range of routes conferring QTS. In addition to PGCE courses, there are undergraduate degrees and programmes such as Teach First. Step 2 (Graduation)
Graduates specialized in Commerce, Mathematics or Economics are preferred more. You may enroll in bachelor's degree programs in business administration with a concentration in banking and financial management to further your understanding. These programs offer courses in marketing, management and strategic planning, accounting, and finance. Those who graduate with a bachelor's degree are eligible for commercial and investment banking job opportunities.
With your graduation, you can take some internships. It will help you in the understanding of banking policies and regulations. It may also help familiarize you with the responsibilities and key roles.
NOTE: Banking specialty: When looking into possible internships, consider the different types of banking specialties. For example, if interested in investment banking, apply for an internship with an investment bank. Choose your area of specialty.
Step 3
MBA holders, Chartered Accountants and Chartered Financial Analysts also get more preference in the field. Many of the universities and B-schools like the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance provide specialized courses in Banking and Finance and the eligibility criteria will vary depending on the courses.
