Hi Rutuja,
For most of the Universities offering M.Phil, it is important or rather preferred to pursue Masters through a well recognized University and that too through the regular mode.
You may try to get in touch with the University of Mumbai which does conduct M.Phil and inquire about the required details.
Also you can refer to SNDT Women's University which offers M.Phil through distance mode also.
Kindly revert for any further queries, also if you liked this answer then rate it 'Best answer' or give a 'Thumbs Up' rating.
All the Best!

The eligibility to sit for NET or SET Examinations you need to have a Masters degree from a UGC recognized University with 55% aggregate marks. As SCDL is giving PGDM programme which is DEC recognized it seems difficult that you would be able to sit for NET or SET Examination.
