‘STEP’ up with Oberoi's Hospitality Training Programme
‘STEP’ (Systematic Training and Educational Programme) gives you on-the-job-training at Oberoi Group while you pursue a Bachelor of Tourism Studies (BTS) degree from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).
Launched in the year 2004, STEP is a three year programme giving students the competitive edge to acquire specialised training and knowledge either in Kitchen Operations or Hotel Operations while they pursue a degree from IGNOU.
Eligibility criteria:
• Candidates need to have passed class XII
• Aged between 17 and 20
• Strong academic performance in class X and XII (minimum 50% aggregate and 55% in English in class X).

National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (Society) was set up in the year 1982 by the Government of India as an autonomous body for coordinated growth and development of hospitality education in the country. Initially, the Council was set up as the National Board of Studies in Food Management, Catering & Nutrition under the administrative control of Ministry of Agriculture (Department of Food) and subsequently transferred to the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India in the year 1984.
Eligibility
A pass in 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.
Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in JEE 2015 on provisional basis. Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted at the time of counselling or at the time of admission or latest by 30-09-2015.

There are a lot of openings for you after B.Sc Physics. You can opt for M.Sc Physics, Astrophysics : - This sector has many job opportunities you may join M.sc. Astrophysics in any university or if you want to see yourself as a scientist/Researcher you can proceed with M.Sc. in Applied Physics, and then go for PHD.
There are many options available to you depending on your interests, core strengths and chosen career path. Other than the conventional courses, you could explore courses in management, teaching, research, finance/banking, media, corporate communications, retail, hospitality etc. Postgraduate diplomas in specialized areas like leather, sugar, plastics, processing, packaging or environment technology are some other options you could look at. You can also take the Civil Services as well as the Indian Forest Service Exams with physics as one of the papers in the Mains examination.
We recommend that you take the time to explore your deepest talents, interests and career goals before you decide on what the next step should be. Hey Vikarant, didn't quite get your question, from what you wrote above I am only able to make out the "sports person" part and the "admission without an entrance exam part". So I would like to provide you some info. regarding the admission procedure. You should be a graduate in any discipline from an AICTE approved College/ University with at least 55% in such case you got to take an exam but if your percentage is above "60" and you have some experience in for example some industry, corporation, or organization of some sort, they might let you exempt the exam and give you a direct admission. For further clarification fill out the form in the morning provided in the link below and one of SMU personnel will give you a call as soon as you're done filling it.

In the aviation industry, job of aeronautical engineers, aircraft maintenance engineers, and pilots is very crucial. But the roles are very different. Aircraft maintenance engineering (AME) trains aspirant to service the aircraft. Aircraft maintenance engineers are responsible for keeping the aircraft in perfect flying conditions. They are directly or indirectly involved in the repair and maintenance of aircraft.
Aircraft maintenance engineering is not a degree or diploma program, but it is a training programme.
