I would suggest that you go for what you like i.e
your certification courses.
But alongside that try at least once more for clearing your CS exams.
However, if you are sure enough that you don't want to pursue this, leave this altogether and focus on what you want.

If answers to all the above questions and or in relevance to them is yes, then yes it is worth doing engineering in aeronautics.
