It's not necessary but you have to work hard and study on your own. Here are a few tips-
CAT is the most important part of the question paper. Start sketching and develop your own style of sketching and coloring. I cannot stress this enough. Good drawing skills are very important.  You can do it. If you don't have 60% in 12th go for Diploma Lateral entry. The eligibility is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in ITI (in Technical field) 1 year/ 2 years Certificate course or 2 years Diploma from SLIET or 10+2 Vocational (in Technical field) or 10+2 (Non-Medical) or equivalent from any recognised Board/ Council.
If you have 60% in class 12 then appear for LPUNEST exam and take admission in B.Tech itself.

Both are good in there ways. Both have strong alumni and one of the oldest colleges too. They almost are equal. The good thing to do LLB from CLC is that it is in Delhi where High Court Supreme Court District courts and Tribunals are very near to do internships and almost all the firms and advocates have their offices in Delhi.

Yes, you can join B.Tech after completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. As you have completed Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, so you can join B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering and Automobile Engineering only. You can get admission in Engineering colleges through lateral entry scheme.
According to the lateral entry scheme, you can get admission in an engineering college for B.Tech course directly in the second year.

Hi Pratiksha,
If your English is not strong plus if you are planning to study abroad I will strongly advice you to improve your English communication skills. How will you converse with students and how will you sustain the English speaking environment if you are not well-versed with the language of communication. Nevertheless you will need an all-rounded good performance in your test to pass the TOEFL decently.
